Medieval Feast

Why not live the full medieval experience during your stay at Minstrels Rest and indulge in a medieval feast. You will be provided with handmade authentic medieval costumes for the night, which you will find hanging in your room on your arrival. You will then be ready to partake in a three course medieval feast by candlelight, fit for a King.

Feasts are only available for parties of 6 or more people, £25 per head.

The Bard’s Broth

A hearty homemade vegetable pottage flavoured with herbs (Minstrellone) and served with a hunk of bread

The Royal Roast

A joint of roast pork or roast chicken or a vegetable bake, seasoned with herbs and served with roast potatoes and fresh vegetables. Accompaniments of Apple sauce, Gravy and stuffing are all offered.

Lemon Syllabub – luxurious dessert made with cream, lemons, white wine & mead
A fresh fruit medley served with fresh cream or ice cream
Homemade apple pie spiced with cinnamon served with fresh cream or ice cream

Tea & Coffee served with Homemade biscuits
